In North America the Adventist Curch is divided into 9 unions. It is one of 13 divisions of the Church worldwide. The Atlantic union is compsed of New York State and New England; the Columbia union contains the Mid-Atlantic states; the Lake Union covers the Upper Midwest; the Mid-America union includes the states west of the Mississippi and north of the Colorado-Kansas-Missouri borders west to the Inter-Mountain States; and the Pacific union lies south of the Oregon-Idaho borders.
